Facilities & Purchasing Assistant

As the Facilities & Purchasing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and physical support to the Facilities and Purchasing Manager. Support areas include mail and courier services, purchasing, supply inventory, and facility maintenance. Transportation to the local post offices and off-site branch locations is required. Provides backup for security equipment and testing. THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE EMPLOYEE TO FREQUENTLY LIFT AND/OR MOVE UP TO 50 POUNDS AND OCCASIONALLY LIFT AND OR MOVE UP TO 75 POUNDS. The employee is frequently required to operate their own vehicle to transport mail, inventory and supplies to credit union and other off-site locations, generally during daylight hours but occasionally during evening hours.

Candidate should possess High school diploma or GED, technical school, or equivalent work related experience or related discipline, or related area or equivalent work related experience; or one year or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The person should have experience performing a variety of administrative support functions in an office environment. These could include purchasing, facilities coordination, mailroom experience and security devices. Prior experience in coordinating and resolving numerous moderately complex problems with varying priorities is a must. The successful candidate should possess general experience in developing and generating basic reports and logs.
