How to Join

Membership Application

A minimum initial $5.00 deposit will open your Share Savings account and start you on the road to lifetime financial service. A $2.00 membership fee is required and is non-refundable. You may also begin enjoying other credit union services right away.

We offer three different methods of joining Securityplus FCU; select the one most convenient for you:

1. Online/By Mail - Just print out the membership application. Complete it, sign it and mail it to us at the address listed below. Please also enclose a check or money order (made payable to Securityplus FCU), and a copy of your valid picture ID. We ask you to mail the application in to give us an opportunity to verify the information provided. While an online sign-up is technologically possible, the security presently available does not allow us to verify identity to our satisfaction. If you clicked on the "Membership Application" link above, and could not view the printable application, you may need to download Adobe Acrobat.
   
   Be sure to complete all three sections -- the application fee will be used to verify your eligibility; the agreement confirms you will conform to membership requirements; and the payable on death designation assigns your account value to someone you choose on your death under certain conditions. Your membership number and ID card will arrive within one week after we receive your application. All applications are subject to our verification of your eligibility.

2. Over the phone - Just contact one of our Call Center Representatives at 410-965-8908 or 1-866-4SECPLUS (outside the Baltimore area), Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm, or Saturday, 9:00am - 1:00pm. They will be happy to assist you with the process of joining our Credit Union.
   
   
3. In person - Simply visit any of our branches and a Member Service Representative will gladly guide you through the application process. You will receive your membership card immediately. All applications are subject to our verification of your eligibility.
