Securityplus participates in the HopeFul Market, a free farmers market for the homeless.

Securityplus Federal Credit Union joined efforts with the nonprofit Love the HopeFul to provide much needed personal care products to more than 100 homeless individuals and families during the June 15th HopeFul Market held in Baltimore City.

Through generous donations given by Securityplus employees and members, items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap, deodorant, washcloths, shampoo, and lotion were handed out by Securityplus employees and family members to those in need who attended the free farmers market.

The HopeFul Market, which is held every third Saturday from April through December under the Fallsway bridge, is hosted by Love the HopeFul, a nonprofit organization which provides year-round support to those who are experiencing homelessness. The free market provides fresh fruits and vegetables, protein, baked goods, bottled water and more to those who are less fortunate, giving them access to nutritious foods and much needed supplies.

Securityplus is committed to making a positive difference in Baltimore by giving back and helping to meet the needs of our communities.
