Funds Access

A Money Market Account allows each account owner to perform up to six transactions, other than in-person, per month against this account, three of which may be checks. These transactions include checks, transactions performed via the Contact Center or ResponseLine and automatic transfers (payments made toward Securityplus loans do not count against this limit). Members may access this account in-person at a teller window without limitation.

Deposits may be made to a Money Market Account in any mount at any time. Withdrawals, transfer (automatic or otherwise), loan payments and checks must be in amounts of $250 or more.

Fees

Low Balance Fee - A Money Market account is taken into consideration in the calculation of the minimum cumulative balance. This cumulative balance of at least $200 in deposits must be maintained in order to avoid the Minimum Balance Fee. This fee may also be avoided by opening a loan or credit card account.

Excess Transfer Fee - If a member exceeds the number of allowable checks or preauthorized transfers, the Credit Union may impose a fee of $25 per occurrence and reserves the right not to honor the excess transaction(s). The Credit Union may also close a Money Market account and transfer all remaining funds to the member's Share account.
